I understand that people going to the 'Collared' Club in London sometimes meet at a bar before the event starts to allow new visitors to meet people. It seems a good idea for those that might come on their own. Is this still happening, and where does the

Yes this has become a regular thing and is great for newcomers that might be coming alone, and is now held at the Central Station ground floor bar immediately above the club, from about 5.30pm on. It used to be at the 'Charles the First pub' just a few hundred yards away, but is now at Central Station itself.

What are the club rules?

  • Everything that happens at Collared is based on respect and consent. No bullying or intimidation is tolerated, unless both parties agree to that behaviour.

  • Do not make assumptions about any of the guests. Everyone has limits, needs and fears.

  • No watersports, scat, blood or puke!

  • You might be a dom, but please leave your mind games, your territory games and your aggression at the front door. We won't tolerate people who intrude into the private space and relationships of our guests.

  • No photography unless with explicit permission given to an authorised photographer.

I noticed some Club rules on display at the entrance last visit. Does this indicate a change of policy, over what has been such a friendly and enjoyable night?

NO! - nothing has changed! It is simply so first time visitors are aware we want everyone to have a stress free fun evening. We have found if people are made aware before hand that inappropriate or objectionable behaviour is not acceptable, they make sure they behave themselves to avoid being asked to leave!

Some clubs have no rules regarding photographs being taken, others have a rule of no photography whatsoever. What is the ruling at 'Collared'?

'Collared' understand some peoples concerns over this, so random photography is not permitted, which includes the use of mobile phone cameras.

The club has its own official photographer(Drunk who will take pictures on request, as well as for the 'Collared' website galleries, after obtaining your permission. If you prefer not to be photographed at all, that's fine - its your choice!

If you are found to be taking photos in the club you may well be asked to delete any photos you have taken.  Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave and possibly banned from Collared events.

I visited the club in August with my pup (20yo) who was asked for age verification by your staff. We were not carrying passports or driving licences simply because of never having had this problem elsewhere. Fortunately we only live a mile or so away, so we were able to go back and get it.

We hope with hindsight you appreciate our staff were simply doing their job! Some pups and slaves do look young for their age, so age checks become essential.

We cannot comment on how other clubs have dealt with you over this, but 'Collared' offers a safe environment for everyone, which means ensuring all visitors are adults of the minimum legal age of 18+ years. However, I'm glad the matter was resolved satisfactorily, and hope you both enjoyed the evening.

Do sexual activities happen at the club?

We are shocked that you would ask such a thing! Go immediately into one of our two darkrooms until you come out with an answer Smile

Thanks for a brilliant night out - I've been twice now and loved every minute. But can you tell me if the cages, stocks, tie-up chair, spanking furniture etc are only for the demo sessions, or can they be used by anyone throughout the evening?

The equipment is there for everyone to use! You don't need to ask! If it is needed for one of the demonstrations we will have to ask you to make it available of course, but otherwise feel free! There are usually Doms or tops to get involved with if you're alone. You can also bring and use your own restraints & rope if you wish.

Apparently there is no dress code at 'Collared', but I don't want to feel out of place. What are most people choosing to wear?

A visitor to 'Collared' can wear just what they choose, but as 'Collared' is themed on Slaves and Masters and their relationships, some may want to enter into the spirit of the evening by wearing clothing kink or fetish gear appropriate to their role. It's a fifty-fifty mix on most nights.

Someone adopting the dominant role of a Master may choose to wear boots of the Doc Martin type, jeans or black leather trousers, and possibly a shirt, waistcoat or harness. Many Masters of the 'traditional type' choose black leather shirts and leather 'Muir caps' to complete their outfit.

A slave may be instructed by his Master to be completely naked except for a collar, although many slaves or sub-missives make their own decisions over clothing, and choose skin tight rubber, jockstraps, shorts, trainers or boots. Football or sports kit has also become a popular choice, and some sub-missives are involved in 'Puppy Play' - a role play activity always of interest to visitors. Slaves will usually wear collars, so you will see a lot of those when you visit 'Collared' - see the archive photos for examples.

Many visitors, as well as many Masters and slaves, will choose to simply socialise and feel quite content wearing casual street clothes.

I don't really know what I'm looking for but I've heard Collared is a good place to start. Does it matter if I'm not totally into the master/slave thing?

Absolutely not. Many of the people coming to Collared are just feeling their way into the kink world and haven't settled on what they really want. Some have an interest in feet, others are curious about bondage while others are just wanting to explore lots of different ideas. We welcome anyone who wants to explore their kink side, no matter what it is (within safe limits, of course)

I am not likely to want to do more than socialise and perhaps meet new friends on my first visit - is this quite normal?

It is totally normal! You will be one of many. Once you have been to the club a few times you may be tempted to get more ambitious, but that is entirely your choice.

I heard that bondage and punishment takes place at 'Collared'. What exactly does that mean?

Bondage, restraint, and corporal punishment have always been part of a slaveboys lifestyle. For the benefit of visitors, the club holds demonstrations of such activities using volunteers (usually 'Collared' slaveboys). Visitors are not expected to take part - although requests are not uncommon and will be considered! Everything you may see is of course entirely consensual.

The name 'Slave Boys' implies a very youthful event. I am a middle aged man who has always been involved in the fetish and Master & slave scene, but fear I wont fit in at 'Collared'

I am pleased to say you are totally wrong!  It's true that we are probably the youngest kink event in the world but 'Collared' welcomes members and guests of all ages and age groups, and shapes & sizes! There are of course many slaveboys in the immediate 18+ age group, but far more who are not. There are also Masters of all age groups 18-80yo. You will feel totally comfortable and safe at 'Collared London' regardless of your age group - so come and enjoy!

I heard that club members are able to buy Fetish gear and clothing at discount prices from one of the best fetish shops. Is this true?

Yes it is! We are proud to be associated with 'Fetish Freak' - London's most 'go ahead' fetish gear suppliers, who are able to give special terms to members when buying clothing, gear, and equipment - and they stock almost everything!

They are based in Vauxhall London, and offer a discount on their already very competitive prices to 'Collared' visitors.  You will need to have your membership card with you when you go shopping in order to get the discount.

'Collared' holds events outside of London and Blackpool. Are these going to be a regular events?

Yes, we try to hold a Collared "social" every few weeks, and these have been very successful. While not full-on Collared events they are a chance to meet other kinksters and have a good time.

How do I add photos to my profile?

You  do it like this.....

  1. Click on 'Add photo' in the menu

  2.  Use the 'Choose file' or 'Browse' (depending on your web browser) to select the image you want to put in your gallery

     
  3. Click the 'Upload' button
  4. Add a title, maybe fill in some location information, and then click 'Save'
